  • Cherhill white horse
    Lacock Village: Famous for its picturesque streets and charming historical buildings, Lacock Village has been used as filming locations for Harry Potter, Downton Abbey, and Pride and Prejudice.
  • Bath: See the Roman Baths, Georgian architecture and the gorgeous abbey. You have plenty of time to wander at your own pace.

Day 2

  • Bibury, described by artist William Morris as ‘the prettiest village in England’. We’ll take a stroll through the village, including the famous Arlington Row, with its dollhouse-like weavers’ cottages dating back to 1380.
  • Stow-on-the-Wold The quintessential English village, with its quaint cottages, tiny tea shops, and pretty gardens.
  • Bampton: The beautiful setting of many scenes from the smash hit TV series, Downton Abbey.
  • Oxford Home to the oldest English-speaking university in the world and over 1500 listed buildings. It is here that JRR Tolkein wrote Lord of the Rings and CS Lewis wrote Alice in Wonderland; Alice was based on the daughter of one of Lewis’ friends, the Dean of Christ Church, and lived in Oxford. Great Hall of Christ Church College has featured in the films ‘The Golden Compass’ and ‘Brideshead Revisited’, and the dining hall is where Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Great Hall was set.
