Royal London Jubilee-inspired 4-night package

Taking inspiration from Her Majesty’s 2022 Jubilee celebrations, the 4-star semi-private “Royal London Jubilee” package condenses all the grandeur of royalty into a 5-day/4-night city break, complete with castles and fortresses, a delightfully English afternoon tea, visits to the UNESCO world heritage sites of Greenwich, Bath, and Stonehenge, and a uniquely London “Black Cab” Royal tour. Rather than being limited to the Jubilee weekend itself, this package is designed for travel over a wider period to give more flexibility.

Itinerary

Day 1

Your private transfer will whisk you from Heathrow to your hotel, where a pre-loaded London Visitor Oyster Card is waiting for you at reception. Take time to get your local bearings and slip into UK time before your adventure begins.

Stroll through Trafalgar Square, along the Mall to Buckingham Palace and the Royal Mews, one of the finest working stables in the world, and home to a collection of magnificent historic Royal Carriages, including the Diamond Jubilee Coach. Just opposite the palace is the beautiful Reubens Hotel, a perfect spot to relax while enjoying a traditional afternoon tea with delicious sandwiches, cakes and tea. Take your time and get a good night’s sleep – you have a busy few days ahead!

Day 2

8 hours in London. Travel in style the London way in a traditional Black Cab with a qualified guide cabbie. Let your guide show you the capital in a way that only a London cab driver can.

Your Royal themed day includes entrance to magnificent Westminster Abbey, the Queen’s coronation location and the imposing Tower of London, home of the Crown Jewels.

Soak up the sights and sounds of London while learning all about England’s capital, then have a relaxed evening at your leisure.

Day 3

11.5 hours out of London. Join a shared excursion by superior comfort coach with WiFi and an expert guide. You’ll spend the day experiencing some of England’s most prized treasures and, with personal headsets you’ll not miss a thing.

Visit stately Windsor Castle, official residence of The Queen and home of the British monarchy for over 900 years. Explore the gorgeous UNESCO Georgian city of Bath (recently featured in the TV series Bridgerton) and its ancient Roman Baths, then marvel at the mysterious megalithic site of Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain. You’ll arrive back in London, where you will have the evening at your leisure.

Day 4

8 hours in Greenwich. The Royal borough of Greenwich is a jewel in London’s crown. Today you’ll enjoy a day with an expert private guide exploring the Greenwich on foot. Take the high-speed Thames river clipper, past some of London’s most iconic sites to Greenwich Pier.

Let your guide introduce you to the Cutty Sark, one of the last – and fastest – tea clippers ever built (1869), and the awe-inspiring Royal Observatory, and the Meridian Line. Visit the stunning recently-refurbished Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College, and take in the sights of this historic town. You have the evening at your leisure.

Day 5

It’s time to leave, but not before one final English breakfast at your hotel. Your private transfer will be ready when you are to return to Heathrow. There is so much to see and do in England’s capital so give yourself some time to explore.

Do some shopping for souvenirs and typically English treats to take home with you, visit more attractions, take some selfies, or picnic in one of London’s Royal parks.

This tour is customisable so, if you’d like to extend your stay or wish to visit other attractions not on this itinerary, just get in touch. We’re looking forward to booking your break!
