B&B Ireland vouchers (“Go As You Please”)

All B&B Ireland homes are approved by the Fáilte Ireland and Northern Ireland Tourist Boards (the official Irish Tourist Boards).

All the homes meet these high standards; if they do not, they are removed from the listing.

Town house: A property in a city, town, or village location. They can be detached or semi-detached. Many are in an ideal location for city visits and shopping. They are often close to train and bus services.

Country home: Properties located in a rural setting. These homes offer a wide selection of premises, from Georgian residences to modern bungalows and traditional Irish homes - all with modern amenities and facilities and all with an adequate garden and green surrounds.

Farmhouse*: Situated on a working farm. The farmhouse is a traditional or modern farmhouse all with modern amenities and facilities located in rural Ireland. Any home offering a holiday on a farm will allow safe access to the farm.

Historic houses*: Private homes of significant architectural merit and character. They are based in towns and rural settings.

*A note on farm and historic houses: There are relatively few farmhouse and historic house options. In our experience, these get booked up quickly, particularly in peak season, so, if it is your dream to stay at one, pre-booking is essential.

There are six main room types: 

Single: A room with a single bed suitable for one occupant. 

Twin: A room with two separate beds suitable for two occupants. 

Double: A room with one double bed suitable for two occupants. 

Double/Single: A room with one double bed and one single bed. Suitable for three occupants. 

Triple*: A room with three separate beds OR a double and a single bed. Suitable for three occupants. 

Family Room*: A room with one double bed and two single beds OR two double beds. Suitable for a family of four.

*A note on triple and family rooms: There are relatively few triple and family room options. In our experience, these get booked up quickly so pre-booking is essential.

En suite room: The room has its own private facilities such as shower/bath, toilet and hand basin.

Standard room: The bathroom is not private and attached to the room – it is outside the room and is shared with other guests in the B&B home.

Check-in times are usually between 15h00 – 18h00, unless otherwise agreed with your hosts.

Check-out is usually by 10h00 or 11h00 latest, unless otherwise stated or agreed with your hosts.

Early check-in/late check-out may be possible, depending on the accommodation, by prior arrangement and could be subject to an additional fee.

Yes, there are but not all the accommodations have mobility options. Premises suitable for disabled persons have been graded by Comhairle or in the past by the National Rehabilitation Board.

Yes. Ireland has a smoking ban in place in all areas of work i.e. pubs, clubs, restaurants, etc. Therefore, you will not be permitted to smoke or vape in the accommodation at all.

Yes, they do.

Due to Covid-19, a breakfast buffet service may not be available and will be replaced with an extensive table service menu or 'a breakfast to go' option. Breakfasts in a dining room may be staggered in order to ensure social distancing.
